The Darkness Playing live @ Newcastle Panthers
The British Glam Rock Sensation The Darkness are playing at Newcastle Panthers this Saturday 5th of May for their Australian Tour 2012! It has been six years since they have toured in Australia. The band will be putting on a fantastic entertaining live rock show definitely worth going!

Nova & the Experience @ The Cambridge
Nova & the Experience describe their music as pop/indie with a touch of folk with a high energy live performance that encourages crowd interaction. As a result of their catchy tunes, fun performances and constant touring Nova & the Experience have established a wide fan base across the country. A fan base that the band affectionately call CATS. It is this fan base and recent achievements such as reaching number 3 on the AIR Independent Music Charts; that has given them the opportunity to support ‘WHEATUS’ on their 2012 Australian Tour in September 2012.
However, you don’t have to wait until September to catch their quirky Pop sound live, Nova & the Experience headline the Red Dress & Black Tie Ball at the Cambridge Hotel Newcastle on the 5th of May 2012. The band encourages everyone to ‘dress to impress’ at this special event whilst get ready to get ‘down’ on the dance floor.
Sunday 6th May
Nobby’s Lighthouse and Exhibition in the Old Signal Master’s Cottage
The Nobby’s Lighthouse grounds will be open to the public this Sunday between 10am and 4pm. The Nobby’s headland offers spectacular views of Newcastle city as well as the ocean, it’s available to everyone and entry is free! There parking space available near Nobby’s beach and it’s an 800 metres walk from the car park to the lighthouse.
By visiting the lighthouse you may also have the opportunity to see an exhibition in the old signal master’s cottage! The exhibition will offer a captivating collection of Newcastle photographs, drawings and paintings. This is all in commemoration of the quest to find the foundation and inscription Stone which was laid in Newcastle by Governor Lachlan Macquarie in 1818. This stone is deeming lost for over 190 years.

This might be your last chance to see the band play together as the lead singer Clint Boge has officially announced that he is leaving the band to pursue other musical interest. The remaining members of the band will stay and continue to work together. The band want to give their fans a chance to see them perform together for the last time and this is why they are doing a national tour. Signed copies will be available at the show!
