The Doors Experience @ Cardiff Panthers
THE DOORS EXPERIENCE is one of the most authentic tribute shows Australia has ever seen. This show will transport the hardest of critics back to the whisky in 1968. Singer Andy Sutton (UK Countdown/Dirty Deeds) is the ultimate JIM
MORRISON as he struts his stuff with reckless abandonment. Vocally he has Morrison’s voice down to a tee with a close your eyes and its JIM affect.
Playing the part of Robbie Krueger Adam Watts (Rattle and Hum/Australian Made) recreates those classic Doors solo’s note for note. Our very own Ray Manzarek is played by Sean Phegan (Rattle and Hum/One Hit Wonders) you will lose yourself in those classic organ solo that are so authentic.
And driving this Ship from the rear is Sam Pagliaro (Rattle and Hum) on drums pumping out those classic bosanova beat keeps it all together from first song to last.
All this with the ambience of a classic DOORS light show and stage props makes this a SHOWNOT TO BE MISSED!!!!

Sometimes words arent enough.
All the things that have and will be said about Renee Geyer…one of the worlds finest singers…Australian music legend…are true and undeniable, but saying that about her still doesnt say enough. Renee Geyer is Renee Geyer, a unique talent, not a singer whose career is dependant on yesterday or tomorrows hit song, but someone who lives for her next performance, on stage or on record, someone who refuses to rest on her laurels. The voice was always there. From the first time she opened her mouth those who heard turned their heads, but that wasnt enough for Renee Geyer, still isnt enough for Renee Geyer. Shes much more now than she ever was.

It could happen to anyone. You could be cleaning a hotel room. You could be running a storage unit facility. You could simply be taking the dog for a walk.

Stooged Artistic Director Carl Young shocked and thrilled Newcastle audiences with his wildly popular 2011 production of The Footage – now he’s back and promising to deliver another award-winning contemporary play full of the same tension, humour and intrigue.
Play contains very strong language and adult themes. Not recommended for those under the age of 15.
The play will run for approximately 80 minutes without an interval.

Hilltop Hoods @ Bar On The Hill
The Hoods are hitting Bar on the Hill this August as part of their massive regional Australian tour.
We’re excited to announce that Aussie hip hop royalty, Hilltop Hoods will be gracing our stage as part of their ‘Speaking in Tongues’ tour on August 2nd. Suffa and crew are hitting Bar on the Hill as part of their massive regional Australian tour. Tickets to this hotly anticipated tour have been selling fast from Brisbane to Adelaide.
While Australian Hip Hop continues to break new ground, there is only one act synonymous with the term ground-breaking. Within a genre that is growing at an exponential rate, Adelaide’s Hilltop Hoods will always remain leaders.
The Hoods join part of what’s already promising to be a stella line up of gigs for Bar on the Hill this semester with tours from Jinja Safari and Bodyjar both scheduled to make an appearance later in the month.
If you’re not across who the Hilltop Hoods are, you’ve been living under a rock, with the band’s last album ‘State of the Art’, the biggest selling Australian Hip Hop album of all time, holding the number one spot for two weeks, winning two ARIA’s and turning out to be a multi-platinum monster.
MC’s Suffa and Pressure continued their art of weaving tales of everyday life into razor sharp musicality, while DJ Debris remained the backbone of the band’s formidable live show. An album so big, so fresh and so well executed ‘State of the Art’ transformed the perception of Hip Hop in Australia. the Hoods continue to give back to the local scene through the ‘Hilltop Hoods Initiative’, a grant that the Adelaide trio established in 2005 to support up and coming Hip Hop artists around Australia.
The group continue to move forward at light speed without ever looking back, and their new album ‘Drinking From the Sun’ is no exception. The first single ‘I Love It’, featuring the amazing vocal talents of Sia, has been released to widespread acclaim and there is plenty more to come.
