Saturday, 5th February: In a successful endeavour to extend and strengthen Newcastle’s artisan community, The Olive Tree Market at The Junction Public School showcases an array of emerging Newcastle artists and fashion designers. More info
Sunday, 6th February 10am-3pm: World Wetlands Day Family Festival at Hunter Wetlands Centre. Keep the kidlets entertained for a day with a day of free, environmentally friendly fun. Check out the new reptile displays, admire some cutsie Tasmanian Devils (from afar, those things bite) take a canoe tour or enjoy a free bbq. More info
Sunday, 6th February 10am-3pm: Sunday Sessions at the Depot on Beaumont. Kick back and enjoy tapas and drinks from 3pm til late and live music from 5-9pm at Newcastle’s coolest new restaurant and cocktail bar.
