The Junction Art Crawl
From Saturday 30 April until 29 October, you will have the opportunity to visit local artists in their Newcastle studios. The Junction Art Crawl has been designed to showcase the creation of art and to highlight the importance artists have within the local community. The program hopes to generate appreciation for the work artists produce. The Saturday sessions will be run from 11am to 4pm and are a great opportunity to experience art in a different environment.

Rieteka Geursen & Frank Murri Sculpture and Drawing
Rieteka predominantly works with paper and shaping it to create beautiful life-like pieces. Frank is known for his sculpting work namely with wood and has a way of creating an aesthetic design.
Sally Behrens Painting
Sally calls her painting style, "'domestic realism' in oils on canvas". Much a Sally's work reflect living near Byron Bay, with a strong emphasis on sea shells, flora and fauna.
Sophie Mill Painting
Sophie's career has reached a global level. She was invited to showcase her work in Italy at the prestigious, 'Estense Castle'.
Helene Leane with Jeanne Harrison & Ros Elkin Painting, Printmaking & Ceramics
Helene is a Newcastle based artist who describes her work as, "Soulscapes - landscapes that are born from the unconscious." Her work involves monotype printmaking of landscapes.
