Newcastle Suburb Spotlight: Merewether
We are putting the spotlight on Merewether and looking at what this beachside suburb has to offer. Merewether is located just 2km south of Newcastle’s CBD and while Merewether is predominantly a residential suburb there are a few great pubs, restaurants, takeaways and locally owned shops that are worth knowing about. Hailing from the Central Coast, I decided to speak to the locals to find out all the best things that Merewether has to offer.
