Saturday, 12 February & Sunday, 13 February: Wine & Chocolate at Wyndham Estate. What is better than wine and chocolate? Free wine and chocolate, that’s what! Wine from Wyndham, chocolate from Nestle and tastings are free of charge. Starts at 2pm and bookings are essential. More info.
Sunday, 13 February: Open Day at Miss Porter’s House. With a resident of 87 years, the Porter House has some history! Hazel Porter lived there until her death in 1997. The house is now Newcastle’s only property protected by the National Trust. China & glassware on display as well. A great piece of local history. Admission is $7.00, $5.00 for concession and children 5+ years old. Under 5′s get in for free. More info.
Monday, 14 February: Valentines Day with Zoe K at Lizottes Newcastle. Whether you love or hate Valentines Day, you’re sure to have a delightful time being entertained by Newcastle’s queen of the blues, Zoe K. More info.
Thursday, 17 February: Jazz Factory at The Great Northern Hotel. Essential for those who are missing the weekly jazz jams at The View Factory & those who’ve never been to one. Lots of fun and awesome musicianship. On from 7:30pm. It’s also $10 fish n chip night.
