The Reserve Wine Bar Newcastle Opening Soon!
Coffee shops and cafes are no longer the only retailers keeping the Newcastle CBD afloat. With the renovations of the majority of the bar-come-eateries and the proposition of the introduction of over 6 new wine bars in the CBD, the upcoming new venues are sure to turn the trickle of money flow into a raging river. The Reserve Wine Bar is one of the newest additions to Newcastle’s sophisticated and growing nightlife. The Reserve, opening August 2013, offers a wide selection of old, new, undiscovered and quirky wines from all over the world specializing in the wines of NSW. The bar will feature a 200-plus wine list containing everything from you favourite sauvignon blanc and chardonnay to a beautifully aged cabernet sauvignon. The Reserve can be found on the intersection of Bolton and Hunter Street in the old ANZ building and is only a stones throw away from the Newcastle train station, making it the perfect way to end a day of commuting.
The Reserve Bar is run with the motto that “Wine should be entertaining not intimidating; Fun not fraught with indecision. We believe the best wine is the one you like drinking, not the one you are supposed to think is the best.” With this kind of thinking on the bars staffs behalf, you’re guaranteed to find the wine you were born to drink.
