Introducing: The Newest Amazing Vintage Shop in Newcastle
Have nothing to wear this weekend and need an affordable designer outfit? “What Goes Around” is the newest designer vintage shop in Newcastle! Opening only last week, you’ll find it located in Charlestown, on Pacific Highway.
Shelley Odavis, The shop owner, had the idea of creating her own vintage designer clothing shop after purchasing six different outfits to go to six different weddings and she realised the she probably won’t ever wear any of those outfits again. A lot of her friends were in the same situation and so she thought of creating a vintage shop where anyone can take their designer label clothes that have been worn and sell them. It would allow every girl to have the chance to buy labels they couldn’t afford otherwise.
They have a lot of new items that people have purchased but have never worn. The prices are very reasonable, for example Manning Cattel jeans for $70, they also stock Lisa Brown last season brand new dresses that would normally be worth $500 but they have them for $150. They also have a never worn pair of Gucci shoes, box and dustbag selling for $500 and they would normally be worth $1500. They have other brands such as Hugo Boss, Rachel Gilbert and a lot of Sass and Bide.
If you or any of your friends have any old amazing clothes to sell, this is the place to do it! You can get in contact with Shelley on 0418610413 or you can send an inbox them on their facebook page. They are open most days till 5, and till 7 on thursday nights. The address is 195 Pacific Highway, Charlestown.
I would strongly recommend to go and check out the shop, their clothes are not only affordable but also great quality! The staff there are fantastic, they can help with styling and with choosing the right outfits/accessories!
This new designer vintage shop in Newcastle is an opportunity for all of us girls to put amazing old clothes back to use whilst also giving us the chance to afford designer labels!
