As someone who spends most of their time in the eastern suburbs of Newcastle, I decided to check out a different area this week, and had a walk along the main street of Wallsend. In a similar style to Hunter Street, there were plenty of empty shop spaces - but there was some restoration to be seen, and even a little Christmas spirit.
